Corporate Team Building

Mambo Room's Corporate Team Building is a program aimed at building confidence, strengthening communication and creating personal relationships in any working environment by using dance as the vehicle.  Partner dancing creates a challenging way to think beyond the cubicle walls and inspires a team to work at it's full potential.  Our techniques create ice breakers, inspires creative thinking, builds enthusiasm, and a opportunity to learn about fellow co-workers outside of the normal work environment.

Program Overview
Partner dancing is a fun-filled and effective method for building community and a shared sense of trust among people, making it perfect for instilling team spirit in the corporate environment.  

The most important aspects of partner dancing is the lead and follow relationship.  To ensure a smooth dance there is an equal responsibility for both the leader and the follower.  Both will need to use their senses to make the dance a success.  Developing trust and awareness of one another will be a relationship builder in itself.

Basic Program Agenda
Approx 2 hours (can be modified to fit your needs):

• The Ice Breaker:  
  Discussion on dance and the benefits of dance team building skills
• The Warmup: 
  Learn the basics of the dance
• The Breakdown: 
  Work on dance exercises/drills such as: 
  Following, Leading, Focus and Concentration skills
• The Challenge: 
  Working with a partner (The Art of Leading and Following)
• The Grand Finale:  
  Participants will get to show their skills with a short performance
  incorporating the skills learned.
• The Encore: 
  Wrap and discussion of the days outcomes – Q & A
